We’ve found on multiple occasions that the original nylon bushing wears down causing the clutch release bearing to lose contact with the pressure plate after quick gear changes. This can cause premature failure of the release bearing and/or the clutch pressure plate. Replacing the bush will in most cases fix the problem.
