Hopwood Motorsport parts are parts made in-house by our engineering team. We wouldn’t send out parts that we knew would fail, but sometimes the worst happens.
In order for the warranty to be valid, you must:
Have the part fitted by a competent garage.
Provide an invoice showing the date of fitment, mileage of the vehicle at time of fitting and the contact details of the business.
Provide a picture showing the current mileage of the vehicle.
Provide a picture or video showing the faulty part. You may also be asked to send the part to us, or to one of our suppliers for further inspection if we deem it necessary.
Have had the part fitted for less than 10,000 miles and for less than one year.
The warranty may be made void if:
The vehicle the part was fitted to was not on the list of vehicles in the description of the part in our shop, or wasn't suggested for your vehicle application by Hopwood Motorsport.
No invoice or an invalid invoice has been supplied.
There is no proof of original mileage or current mileage.
A mileage check on your vehicle shows that it has a discrepancy in the year you are claiming for.
No photo or video has been supplied showing the faulty part. Or you refuse to send the part back to us or one of our suppliers for further inspection.
You have fitted the part yourself, correctly or incorrectly.
You have owned the part for over one year and three months in total.
The part has been modified or has been more than visually damaged in any way.
The part has been used in any motorsport activities - such as on drift or track days.
The part was not fitted in accordance with instructions given by ourselves.
The part was fitted incorrectly, has been welded into place or in any way modified from when originally supplied.
The fault has not been disclosed within a reasonable amount of time, i.e. a claim in which a part has been faulty for a few months already
The part has been fitted for more than one year, or the vehicle has done over 10,000 miles.
We will always try to be fair. If we decide that the warranty is not valid, we will supply a reason as to why not. If you wish to take the claim further, you are welcome to post the part back to us (at your cost) for a full detailed inspection, however, this will not necessarily change our decision.
No monetary refund can be made unless the part has been discontinued. We will send a new part out as soon as it becomes available in our warehouse.
