Alex, the Director of Hopwood Motorsport, likes to prove that everything that we sell is strong and durable enough to be used daily. This is his everyday-use car: A (usually dirty) 1998 BMW E39 Touring with an M54B30 3.0 litre turbocharged engine making 600HP/643Nm at the crank (approx. 540HP/575Nm at the wheels). It runs on RON98 fuel (98 Octane Petrol), which can be found at almost every single fuel station around the UK.
The vehicle started out life as a 528i SE Touring, but now boasts much more of an impressive portfolio, including an upgraded FTWL forged turbo system, full custom interior, sport exterior upgrades and square set of 19" CSL M3 replica wheels. Future modifications will include a custom wide-body kit and dual-xenon headlamps, both of which will be added to our store.
